New drawing (This is how we came to know ourselves…)
The thing about this one that almost drove me batty was that the Campbell’s soup can and the Marilyn are each about 1/4″ square. Yikes…. thank god for Warhol, maybe the only artist you can reproduce that small and still have his work be recognizable (Ruscha was another I thought about trying, but in the end Warhol just seemed so perfect since the writing is about magazines I loved as a teenager, and Interview was one of those magazines).
