New postcard drawings (11/25/07)
Ok, lil blog, it’s been a while.
I’ve been getting knocked around a bit by life, but ultimately I think it’s turning out to be a good thing, in that “it’s forced me to grow” sort of way, not that it’s been fun or anything.
I have been listening to Grinderman and PJ Harvey and Foetus. I’ve been looking at a lot of art, and thinking – probably too much.
With about one month to go, I’ve scrapped my original plans for the JC Museum show and come up with something so much better. I’m now genuinely excited about that show, moreso than I’ve been about a show in a long time. December is going to be a tough, long slog getting ready for it, but I’m up for the challenge.
Meanwhile, Diane Villani is taking a bunch of my collages (along with that new print I made) with her to the Ink Fair in Miami. Here’s a few of them:
I’ll be in Miami hanging out, looking at work, thinking too much (most likely), and giving out cool little multiples as I often do. Get in touch if you will be there.
